Duration.
Typically under 30 seconds
CryoPen uses advance cryotherapy technology to remove skin imperfections quickly and effectively with minimal downtime. Procedures can typically last between just 5 and 25 seconds and you can leave the clinic immediately. The skin imperfection that is treated will form a blister and then crust while it is healing but there is no damage to the surrounding skin.
CryoPen can treat many common skin conditions, such as skin tags, solar lentigo, age sports, millia, warts, seborrheic keratosis, cherry angioma or red moles and viral verrucae.
It works by emitting a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure. This allows our aesthetic practitioner to target skin imperfections with complete precision, freezing the tissue that is being targeted.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER CRYOPEN?
Within a day of your treatment, a blister will form and this may take several days to dissolve. Once the blister breaks, a crust will form over the lesion that was treated and this can take between one and six weeks to fully disappear depending on the depth of the treatment.
WHY IS CRYOTHERAPY SO EFFECTIVE?
Cryotherapy causes less damage than other techniques of removing skin lesions. There is minimal post-op care required. It also leaves less scarring than other procedures.
IS CRYOTHERAPY PAINFUL?
You may experience a tingling sensation when the tissue is frozen and there may be some mild discomfort for the first day after treatment but this is usually well tolerated.
IS CRYOTHERAPY FOR SKIN LESION REMOVAL PERMANENT?
For most skin imperfections, cryosurgery is a permanent removal. However, some, deeper lesions may require follow-up procedures to achieve the optimal results.
